Each engraving is designed and burned right here at Petyk Customs.  We have worked to produce an image that not only looks great but will appear great on whatever item you choose.  

 

To order, please add the engraving of your choice to your cart, along with whichever item(s) you would like it to appear.  If you are ordering multiple items and/or engravings, please specify which items you would like for the engraving(s) to appear on using the “additional information” text box within the engraving listing, or at final checkout using the “additional notes” text box. If there is any question as to what should appear where, we will contact you prior to the final engraving.  If you have a specific design or image in mind please visit the listing titled “custom engraving” for instructions on how to design your own engraving.

 

Please note, each engraving is burned into the piece using a laser.  This will cause slight variations in the engraving due to variations in wood grain pattern or the wood that is being engraved.  We will do our best to provide a clean and even engraving, however, If we feel that an engraving will not appear properly, we will contact you right away to determine a solution.

 

Things that may cause variation in the engraving:

-Heavy grain patterns/variations in grain.

-Abrupt change in the type of wood.

-Abrupt change in color of wood or multiple changes of color within the engraving area.

Once the order is received we will begin preparing your piece for engraving.  We will work to get your order completed as soon as possible, and we will work to make sure everything is perfect and appears the way it should.  Engraving completion time varies depending on how many orders we have or the size of your order.  We ask that you please allow 1-2 weeks for the engraving to be completed.  All orders will be shipped together and in as few boxes as possible.  If you order one piece engraved and one not engraved, both items will be shipped together upon completion of the engraving.  

 

Once an item has been engraved or altered from its original state, the order is final and the item cannot be returned or exchanged.

All of the products at Petyk Customs are individually hand-crafted, one-of-a-kind creations, and not factory manufactured. As a result, products will have subtle variations from one piece to the next, caused by the natural variations in the wood as well as the hand crafting.

 

As the piece ages the colors will darken slightly. This is simply due to oxidation in the wood as it ages and can be remedied by refinishing the piece(s).
